Cardiff Conservation Volunteers

CCV's primary aim is to promote the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment anywhere, whilst having an enjoyable time doing so. They have travelled as far as Ireland, and have won a Prince of Wales Trust Award.

CCV and the reserve

Over many years CCV have lent a helping hand on the reserve, works have included clearing invading Reedmace from the pond, hay rakes, laying paths, planting trees and shrubs and removing invading trees from reedbed and meadow areas.
