This is the eleventh year of continuous Dormouse Surveys conducted April/May to November each year by volunteers, 85 surveys in all. This year two consecutive surveys, Oct-Nov, found no Dormice, this has only happened twice before in 2013 and 2016 with 2017 and 2018 having one blank month. This has been our worst year for numbers with only 12 Dormice found during the season, our previous lowest count was 25 in 2013.
