Wildlife Pond
~
Mostly covered with Lesser Duckweed for the later part of the year the Wildlife Pond is an important habitat for aquatic insects, frogs, toads and newts. Ragged Robin, King Cup and Flag Iris thrive on it's banks.

Frogs
~
Frogspawn was laid in the pond in late February 2010 during the first week in March the pond froze. With no rain for three weeks the pond level lowered leaving the Frogspawn stranded on the shelf and in danger of drying out on 13 March it was rescued and moved from the shelf into deeper water.
