The woodland areas of the reserve provide ideal habitats for many bird species including a variety of Tits, Nuthatches and Tawny Owl the woodland compliments the Water Features and Meadowland areas.

Here you will see a large variety of small birds, Tits, Wrens, Blackbirds and if you are lucky Tawny Owl.

Planted within the last 30 years this woodland boasts many species which require a mature woodland habitat including the colourful Jay and trunk hugging Tree Creeper.
